PERSONALITY: When meeting Manuela you see a woman who is friendly and flirtatious. She's good natured and confident, clearly aware of who she is and proud of that fact. It takes an effort to be a beautiful woman with so much talent and she's here to put in that effort. And to make sure that she's acknowledged for the fact. In fact, a good way to get on her good side is to acknowledge her best qualities. But she also has her negative qualities too.

One should never wander into her room without warning. It will always be a disaster since she is not fond of cleaning. She can come across as sloppy and messy. Shamelessly so. In the game it's mentioned that she once dropped a sandwich on the ground then picked it up to continue eating it citing in a sing song voice “three second rule” as her reasoning. On top of all this she has a major love of alcohol and will often drink so much that she ends up with a hangover the next day. Or even just passed out somewhere after all that drinking. But these are all qualities she loves about herself and will get into a spat with someone who tries to change her or scold her for it.

However, these vices she loves do mean that it can be difficult on her dating life. Her main regret in life is that she's gone all this time and not found the man of her dreams. It makes her worry that she'll never find him and end up single for the rest of her life. So she goes on countless dates only to be disappointed in the man or dumped right away for the lifestyle she has. Not that this stops her from continuing to try and from flirting with almost everything that breathes.

In her professional life, she's noted for being a truly caring person who will do so much for her students. They are precious to her and she worries deeply about their well being, even being willing to rush to go rescue them. Once this got her stabbed, a thing she survived but is still bitter about, in order to try and follow a lead towards someone who was missing at the academy. She's also been seen going out of her way to have special moments like fulfilling the dream of one who wanted to dance with her after having been a fan of hers since her days in the opera. One of the other staff even notes how deeply she cares for all of her students and most of her endings in the game result in her continuing to be a teacher because it's something she's truly passionate about.

This is a strong and independent woman who is just looking for someone to love her as she is. She can take care of herself and will show you that she can. With that said, she's a lady who knows that she is stunning and would like to have that acknowledged thank you very much. But please don't do something like stab her. In those moments she can hold a grudge like no other and will thirst for revenge for the blow. Even putting herself in risky situations to try to get it. But accept her as she is and you've got a truly caring woman who will be your ally through thick and thin.

Boy is she aware that she's getting older though. She tries to keep herself in shape and wears clothes to show off her best assets but even then she knows that beauty isn't forever. One day all of that will fade. It's why she left the opera and why she's found new ways to take care of herself. She has a deep faith with the Goddess, using her as an emotional comfort. With that said, she knows that she has to be able to take care of herself and she can't just rely on someone else to do that for her. No one is going to rush in to take care of her needs and if she relies only on her looks then she will be homeless and poor one day. No, she can handle herself well and even take care of others in the process. Weak she definitely isn't. But wow she knows that if she doesn't keep an eye on herself that things will spiral and she does all she can to prevent that from happening. If only so she can continue to live her passions.

POWERS/ABILITIES: Manuela excels in both magic and swordsmanship. She starts off quite strong in the latter with strengths in white magic as well as riding flying creatures. Her main weakness appears to be reason based magic when it comes to learning it but at the point she's pulled from she's come to be strong with electric magic especially but can also use a fire spell known as Bolganone. Her main area of expertise though is in white magic. She's not as strong a healer as others in the game but she can do some things that other white magic users don't easily have access to. For example, she can temporarily ward an ally from an attack, silence another magic user temporarily, or warp an ally to another location very close by.

Along with this, she is a talented physician, well versed in the use of medicinal herbs for patients. As she puts it, herbs will help treat infection and diseases while magical healing is an on the spot treatment in battle and will revitalize a person. With skills and training in both, she knows when to apply either one without question. But she also is a teacher, able to provide a fighting and magical education to students, even in skills she isn't well versed in. And then on top of that? She's a songstress once known as the Divine Songstress from her days in the opera. Now her singing skills and dancing skills are a little rusty these days but it's clear she still has talent in the area. And finally she is also quite a talented cook based on what we see in the game.
